At Luxe, we always try our best to be open and transparent to our customers, and this includes estimating the weigh of the jewelry at the time of purchase. Please note however that these estimates are just that, estimates, and there can be a variation of up to +/- 5% of the stated weight shown on the website.
So what changes the weight? The final weight of the item will always vary based on the following variables:
1) The handmade nature of our products – All chains are hand cast, assembled and polished and not always by the same master jeweler. That is why there will always be some variation between each link and every chain.
2) The alloy of metal used – White gold, Yellow gold and Rose gold all have different alloy blends to give them their unique colors. These alloy blends have slightly different densities and therefore the weights have slight variations. Our estimate is based on averages of all blends.
3) The length of chain – You may order a 24” necklace or 9” bracelet, however chains have to be sold in complete links, not fractions. You can't have a necklace with 60 and 1/2 links to give an exact size of 20”. It will have either 60 or 61 links. We always make sure the length sold is as accurate as possible and of course adds some variation in the final weight.
30-Days No Questions asked 100% Exchange Policy
Our award-winning Luxe Chains are all handmade in Germany and individually custom made just for you. As a result these custom made chains are not eligible for a refund. However as a Luxe customer, all our Luxe Chains are eligible for a 100% Exchange for any item of equal or greater value based on purchase price within 30 days of your purchase.
So for example if you spend $1200 on a gold necklace and would like a bracelet with a different style instead, simply trade in your necklace for the bracelet valued at $1200 or more, and you only pay the difference. We will cover all the shipping charges and make the transaction as smooth as possible.
Lifetime 100% Exchange Policy
After 30 days, we also offer a Lifetime 100% Exchange towards any other item that is two times (2x) the purchase price or greater of the original purchase, and you simply pay the difference. This is offered to all our customers whether you made a purchase 7 months ago or 7 years ago, you are still eligible.
Again using the $1200 necklace as an example. If you spent $1200 on a gold necklace and would like something else instead, simply trade in your necklace for any chain valued at $2400 or more, and you only pay the difference. We will cover all the shipping charges and will ensure the transaction is completed as smooth as possible.
Please Note: Our exchange policies are solely at the discretion of Luxe to prevent abuse through excessive exchanges, and we reserve the right to modify the terms of the transaction if the price of precious metals were to increase or decrease drastically from the time of the original purchase to the time of the exchange. If at all possible subject to a large increase in prices, we may even credit our customer additional funds if their precious metals item is worth considerably more than what was paid at the original time of purchase. We always try to be as fair with our customers as possible.

Order Cancellations
Due to the nature of how we make our chains and that they are each individually handmade for each customer, all orders that are cancelled prior to shipment are subject to a 30% restocking fee to recoup our labor costs.

Each chain is made to order just for you and ships in the time shown under “Shipping Details.” So if it says 3-4 weeks, then your chain will ship in in approximately a month and will arrive the next business day or two depending on the shipping option you selected during checkout.
2. The picture shows the chain it in white gold, can I get it in yellow (or some other color)?
Yes - Regardless what color the chain is shown in above, you can order it in white gold, yellow gold or rose gold (pink gold). All chains ordered in 950 platinum or 950 palladium will be white of course because they are naturally white metals.
3. I want to mix and match gold colors (or metal alloys), is that possible?
Absolutely! – If you want a two tone, or even three tone chain, it can be made. If you want your white links in 950 platinum and your yellow links in 18K yellow gold, we can do that too! For help please email us at sales@luxechains.com
4. I like this style and I see you sell it in 5mm and 6mm, but nothing bigger (or smaller), is it available in other sizes?
Yes and No - Any chain style you see can be made bigger, but there are limitations on how small we can make a chain. Most styles of chains can not be made smaller than 3 to 3.5mm because they are handmade and our master jewelers are not elves with tiny hands! Sizes below 3mm often need to be done by machine and that is not something we do. If you need a chain style made in another size, please send us an email at sales@luxechains.com and we will be happy to help.
5. Can I order in 21K, 22K, 24K yellow gold?
Yes - We can manufacture in 21K and 22K yellow gold, please email us; sales@luxechains.com for more information. We don't make 24K because it is very soft and very hard to work with and will show a lot of scratches easily and the cost of labor is high. But if you must have it, we can make it for you!
6. I need another length than what's shown, is that possible?
Yes - We can make these chains in any length. So whether you need a big bracelet, or a gold collar for your puppy, or even a belly chain (yes we've made them!), we can make a chain in any length you may need! Please email us at sales@luxechains.com for a quote.
